The recent success of "A Quiet Place" has me thinking of an even better Krasinski movie. It's always sad to see a great underrated film not get the attention it deserves. "Away We Go" is one of those films. 🎞️ As I mentioned in my retrospective a while back, it's such a unique concept having a happily in love couple trying to find themselves. Plus, this film has incredible acting with @johnkrasinski and Maya Rudolph! Thinking back to my first video game, "Kirby's Adventure," which I played on my grandparent's farm as a kid. 💭 From the retrospective I wrote a few months ago: "An NES here was an odd find, considering the inhabitants in many ways exemplified the conservative, rural American South farming lifestyle. One thing I quickly realized moving from the South to #STL is that it's a lot harder to be a photographer in the Midwest. 📷📸 It's not like there's an absence of pretty vistas, no, we've got places like Forest Park tailor made for photography. It's the fact that it's winter for so long. As an optimist, reflected in my photography, winter can be a difficult season because you want to capture vibrant colors, but must settle for the dark tones of hibernating flora.
